Pre-DSC1 Practical Shooting Training

 

At Powys Guns we provide Pre-DSC1 practical shooting training to get you ready. We focus on getting you to pass the DMQ1/DSC1 shooting test but we have a flexible approach to any other shooting training.

 

• With safety as a priority, we will teach you to safely handle firearms in a simulated stalking environment, using the BDS shooting template/targets.

 

• We will teach you to shoot accurately and consistently in a simulated stalking environment.

 

• Whether you are a novice or an experienced shooter, these are all considered. We will concentrate on your individual needs to pass the test.

Both the British Deer Society (BDS) and the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) provide a DSC1 and DSC2 training courses which help to improve the skills, knowledge and expertise of shooters who wish to maintain healthy deer populations in balance with the environment.
